Key Findings

Berlin dominates the top 10 — the city's startup culture creates structurally more international-friendly workplaces than traditional German corporate environments.

Tier 1 companies average 20+ points higher than Tier 3 companies, reflecting the correlation between startup culture and international hiring.

Visa mentions correlate strongly with score — companies that actively mention visa support in job ads are significantly more likely to have established processes for non-EU hires.

English-friendly jobs % is the strongest signal — companies where 80%+ of jobs are English-friendly score highest, reflecting a genuinely international working culture rather than just HR rhetoric.

Kununu rating matters at the margins — there's no strict correlation between Kununu score and India Readiness, but companies with very low Kununu scores (<3.0) tend to score lower on international culture indicators.
