We build software that helps engineering teams deliver more effectively and make better use of their resources. Our remit spans cloud and AI spending, software licensing, delivery insights, and the workflows that connect them.</p> <p>You’ll build AI agents, integrations, and internal products that turn data into useful decisions and actions. You’ll work closely with engineers, engineering leaders, and Finance to understand real problems, ship solutions, and measure their impact. We’re looking for a strong software engineer who is excited about agentic AI and cares about how engineering organizations work.</p> <p>See what this looks like in practice: <a href="https://tech.autoscout24.com/blog/posts/ai-teammates-nex-and-fyn/">AI Teammates for Scrum and FinOps: How AutoScout24 Built Nex and Fyn</a>.</p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">What you’ll do: </span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Build and evolve AI products such as Nex and Fyn, their companion tools, and self-service analytics for engineering effectiveness and FinOps.</li> <li>Design agentic workflows with tool calling, orchestration, retrieval, and memory. Make their actions predictable through clear permissions, human approvals, and auditable execution.</li> <li>Connect engineering and financial data through APIs and reliable data pipelines, integrating with tools such as Slack, Jira, our developer portal, and cloud and AI providers.</li> <li>Build FinOps capabilities for cost attribution, forecasting, anomaly detection, and optimization across cloud, AI, and software spend. Keep financial calculations accurate and traceable.</li> <li>Improve delivery visibility and reduce administrative toil, waiting time, and workflow friction. Help teams understand the balance between operational work and product development.</li> <li>Own products from discovery and design through deployment and operation. Build evaluations, tests, and observability that cover agent behavior, reliability, security, latency, and cost.</li> <li>Work with engineering teams, Finance, Procurement, and Employee Tech to prioritize useful improvements. Use adoption, user feedback, and measurable outcomes to guide what you build next.</li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">What you need to succeed </span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Senior-level software engineering experience, typically 5+ years, building and operating production applications or services, with strong skills in design, testing, debugging, and maintainable code.</li> <li>Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications and agentic systems used in real workflows. You can explain the design decisions, failure modes, and trade-offs behind what you’ve built.</li> <li>Strong coding skills in at least one language, ideally Python or TypeScript, and confidence working with APIs, data integrations, and distributed systems.</li> <li>A strong interest in AI and a habit of experimenting, learning, and shipping. Modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Codex are part of your day-to-day work, and you take responsibility for the result.</li> <li>Practical experience deploying and running software in AWS or a comparable cloud, including CI/CD and observability. You can make sensible choices about reliability, security, and operating cost.</li> <li>An interest in engineering effectiveness: developer experience, delivery flow, automation, and responsible use of resources. You want to understand whether a tool improves someone’s work and how to measure that.</li> <li>Clear communication, product thinking, and ownership. You can turn an ambiguous problem into a practical solution and work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Experience that would help</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>FinOps, cloud cost optimization, engineering analytics, developer experience, or engineering operations. Curiosity and willingness to learn these domains matter too.</li> <li>Agent frameworks, MCP integrations, Amazon Bedrock, or AgentCore. Our current agents use the Strands Agents SDK; experience with other stacks is welcome.</li> <li>Building internal tools, dashboards, or data products that people use to make decisions, and using metrics carefully in their context.</li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Why this team</span></strong></p> <p>You’ll join a small team that uses AI throughout its own work and builds products for colleagues across the business.
